1.6.2024: A robot competition for students is organised by RoboSAX in cooperation with the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) at Chemnitz University of Technology. In addition to the competition between various teams, Prof. Röhrbein will give a lecture on the topic of "Artificial Stupidity and Natural Intelligence". Furthermore, Martin Richter (Chair of Operating Systems) will also give a lecture in the field of swarm robotics.

24.10.2025: Prof. Röhrbein will give a guest lecture about Neurorobotics at the Seniorenkolleg of the University Leipzig.

14.11.2024: Discussion at the Volkshochschule Chemnitz on the topic: "Current research on AI. What do we need to know?" with Sascha Kaden as speaker.

10.1.2025: The future of industry: will we soon be working together with robots? Our Department is researching the collaboration between humans and robots. To this end, we have developed a research platform in which humans and robots solve assembly tasks together. The aim is to investigate how humans and robots can interact with each other and express their intentions. The head of this project, Sascha Kaden, will give a talk on this topic for the Senior college under the title "Robot research for Industry 5.0".
