An international university

The Chemnitz University of Technology offers outstanding education to its students, providing them with various and attractive career perspectives.

Every year, more than 750 foreign students from over 70 countries are enrolled at the university. They are supported by the International Office (Internationales Universitätszentrum), which is in charge of areas like „Studying in Germany“, „Study and Internship abroad“ as well as „Support of scientist mobility“.

Due to numerous exchange programmes, you can meet students from Chemnitz all over the world. CUT holds partnerships with more than 100 universities on all continents to support the internationalization of university training.

The new Saxon-Czech University Centre (Sächsisch-Tschechisches Hochschulzentrum) at CUT is one of several means to extend the already very good relationships to universities in neighbouring countries. The Middle Eastern Europe competence of the university is further emphasized by our new European Studies programmes.
