Intensive Course: "German Language, Civilization and Culture for part-time students"

The course "German Language, Civilization and Culture" is offered by the International Office in collaboration with the Language Centre at CUT.

Participants: Exchange students, e.g. participants of the ERASMUS programme
The course is recommended to all new international exchange students who want to refresh or improve their German language skills.
Dates: It is advisable to complete the course before starting your semester abroad.

Placement: Courses are divided into the following levels: beginners, intermediate and advanced
Candidates first have to take a placement test. According to the result of this test you are assigned to a course.
Course programme: You are taught from Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day, by experienced teachers of German as a Foreign Language (DaF). Moreover, the course includes one excursion to the surroundings of Chemnitz.
Costs: Course fee: 45,00 €
This involves all costs for course materials, the excursions and the support by the tutors.

Note: Being an exchange student you are entitled to participate in various German language courses offered by the Language Center. You are exempted from the DSH examination. However, this examination can be taken optionally.
