Scientific work does not only consist of academic writing and the presentation during a seminar. One of the basics is the type of information your paper or presentation is based on. This determines the quality of your work.

It is getting more important, but also more difficult to find relevant and valid scientific information and to distinguish it from less reliable infomation. This is where we want to support you with our online course "Information Literacy". Of course it is not just about how to find this infomation but also how to make it accessible and reproduce it, for instance by quoting literature correctly.

Only if you are able to apply those principles your work will be scientifically sound and will therefore enable scientific dialogue and progress.
