BELTS

Textile and polymer-based belts and timing belts are key elements in modern conveying and drive systems. Focus areas include design, material development, and operational behavior under dynamic loads, as well as system integration.

CHAINS

Chain solutions enable robust and durable conveying systems. Research focuses on friction, wear, energy efficiency, and the optimization of contact and sliding systems in real-world applications.

ROPES

So-called high-performance fiber ropes are continuously developed for conveying and material handling applications. The focus is on load capacity, wear behavior, service life, as well as innovative material and structural concepts for future-oriented rope systems.

DRIVES

Drive systems are essential for the performance of conveying systems. Research focuses on interactions between traction elements and drives, vibration behavior, efficiency, and system-level design.

innoTRAC Symposium

The international symposium innoTRAC is a scientific conference on traction and carrying media in conveying and material handling technology.
