Project description
We have two open doctoral or postdoctoral positions in the Machine Learning and Information Processing group at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). The positions are in the area of machine learning, with a focus on deep learning for inverse problems. We are looking for candidates with strong mathematical skills and interest. A requirement for the position is a master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field with an outstanding academic record. Interest in mathematical signal processing, optimization, and/or machine learning is important. Since the working language is English, excellent written and spoken English language skills are required. The candidate will be a regular full-time employee at TUM, with pay scale TV-L E 13. The expected appointment period is three-four years for a PhD student, and 2-3 years for a postdoctoral position.
