Project description
The research focus area Data Centric Sciences at the University of Potsdam seeks applications for three two-year Jacob-Jacobi postdoctoral fellowships (pay scale TV-L 13) The three fellowship holders will join and strengthen ongoing interdisciplinary research activities at the University of Potsdam in the following three target areas: (a) Cognitive modelling and data science (b) Big data (analytics) in the public sector (c) Physics-based machine learning with applications to fluid mechanics Successful applications will join a vibrant research environment spanning across several faculties at the University of Potsdam. The starting date is negotiable. The fellowship holders are expected to develop an innovative personal research agenda in the context of one of the above target areas. Successful project may receive funding beyond the initial two year period and may join collaborative research initiatives such as SFB 1294 and SFB 1287 at the University of Potsdam. Deadline for applications is 01.03.2020. Applications will be considered until all positions have been filled.
