Using Digital Feedback Portfolios for Developing English Language Students’ Written Communication Skills

Short curriculum vitae

I pursued my academic journey in English and American Studies at Chemnitz University of Technology, spanning from 2017 to 2020, where I specialized in TESOL and English Linguistics, ultimately earning my master's degree. In addition to my academic endeavors, I have shown a keen interest in innovative teaching methods. I completed several English language teaching training programs, including the CELTA certification from the University of Cambridge and advanced teaching techniques through ITC International.

Over the course of approximately three years, I accumulated valuable experience in teaching English in Germany. This breadth of experience, coupled with my proficiency in multiple languages, namely English, German, and Arabic, has enabled me to effectively address the needs and challenges of my students.

In my view, the utilization of digital platforms has become an imperative of the modern age. Consequently, I am presently engaged in a doctoral research project. This project focuses on evaluating the impact of using feedback, implemented through ePortfolios, in the enhancement of English written communication skills. I conduct this research under the guidance of Jun.-Prof. Dr. Jennifer Schluer.
