Short curriculum vitae
I studied English and American Studies at Chemnitz University of Technology from 2015 to 2018, with a specialisation in TESOL and English Literature. Additionally, I completed several English language teaching training courses certified by the University of Cambridge involving CELTA and DELTA M1 & M2.
I have approximately seven years of English teaching experience across a range of countries, including China, Egypt, Germany, Kuwait, and Turkey, as well as with an international EduTech company. This diverse teaching background has shaped my research interests from a practitioner’s perspective.
With the outbreak of COVID-19, I developed a particular interest in teacher agency in the age of digital transformation. Currently, I am working on my PhD project, which explores AI literacy among pre-service teachers, with a focus on the critical and ethical integration of AI in lesson planning.
