Invisible yet Visible: Chemistry in Everyday Life – CHEMnitz Culture

The project aims to highlight the importance of chemistry in cultural and everyday areas through lectures and hands-on experiments. We will offer events that highlight the role of chemistry in photography, the structure of materials, and tattoos, and illustrate this in part through hands-on experiments. We will also cover the importance of chemical reactions in food and show how “molecular cuisine” can change the enjoyment of food and drink.
