Profile and Research
I hold the Chair of High-Frequency Technology and General Electrical Engineering, where I contribute to research in wireless communication technologies, including the development of new antenna systems. The focus is on interference-free and reliable wireless signal transmission.
The MeTech research areas Transport and Mobility and Sensing and Cognition rely on dependable wireless communication between sensors, systems, and end-user devices. If the connection is interrupted, interaction is no longer possible. My work aims to identify sources of interference and multipath propagation effects and implement countermeasures. This is achieved through in-depth research on application-specific electromagnetic wave propagation and the further optimization of antenna systems.
