Profile and Research

As holder of the Chair of Innovation Research and Technology Management at Chemnitz University of Technology, I also serve as Dean of the Faculty of Economics and as Academic Dean of the Master of Management & Organization Studies program. I earned my habilitation in Business Administration, my Ph.D. in Innovation Management, and my master’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Regensburg. My research interests span the fields of innovation research and technology management, particularly technology forecasting, disruptive potential, and business models with a focus on digitalization at the corporate and industry levels, as well as the consideration of sustainability and international aspects. From MeTech, I hope to engage in interdisciplinary research and employ mixed research methods, such as case studies or design research.
