Profile and Research
I hold the Chair of Social Psychology, and my research focuses, among other topics, on the perception of AI and technology as a threat and how individuals and groups respond to this threat. I study what motivates people and groups to support or oppose human–technology interaction and how individuals’ attitudes influence their engagement with technological systems. Additionally, I am interested in how the interplay between humans and technology affects the perception of people and groups.
MeTech provides me with the opportunity to explore these questions across disciplinary boundaries and to collaborate with researchers from other fields. At the same time, I can contribute social-psychological perspectives to other projects.
