A force can be applied by clicking on the points in the grid with the left mouse button [LMB]. The amount is fixed.

Clicking [LMB] again on this force rotates the direction of the force 45° counter-clockwise. The direction can be fine-tuned by clicking and holding [LMC] and moving the mouse.

Only one force can be applied at a time. A force that has already been inserted can be removed again with the right mouse button [RMB].

The degree of filling/ the proportion of material and the point size can be adjusted with the upper sliders.
