The "Info²-Tag" is an opportunity for companies to inform students about possible employments after graduation. The talks will be carefully chosen to represent a representative mix of possible topics in IT and also includes local companies in order to emphasize the attractivity of Chemnitz and Saxony in general as a business location.

What´s the gain for students?

Listening to selected presentations of several branches mediates the wide range of fields a computer scientist can work in after studying. The exemplification of business requirements facilitates our students to apply this knowledge for instance for the choice of their subsidiary subjects or to use uprising contacts to collect experience in a practical training and during writing the seminar paper or degree dissertation.

And what´s up with the companies?

Representatives of companies participating in the Info²-Tag can seize the opportunity to get in touch with students to learn about their qualifications and interests, thus getting to know prospective executives. Even more, a lot of students are looking for internships or part-time employment.
The event also connects professors with businesses, thus fostering future joint research projects.
