{"id":419,"date":"2016-08-30T13:06:48","date_gmt":"2016-08-30T11:06:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tu-chemnitz.de\/wirtschaft\/summerschool\/?page_id=419"},"modified":"2025-04-23T08:40:14","modified_gmt":"2025-04-23T06:40:14","slug":"2017-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.tu-chemnitz.de\/wirtschaft\/summerschool\/","title":{"rendered":"2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p><strong>The 16th AAE Summer School \u2013 18<sup>th<\/sup> until 29<sup>th<\/sup> of March 2025 \u2013 Chemnitz and Berlin<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tu-chemnitz.de\/wirtschaft\/bwl9\/aae-summerschool.org\/2025\/2025_0.png\" alt=\"Bild der TU-Chemnitz\" width=\"60%\" height=\"auto\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The topic will be<strong> \u201cInvestigating the interrelation of culture, creativity, innovation and sustainable development in the age of disruption\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0and will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Several workshops and lectures, held by Professors and staff members of our partner universities (ICN, UKZN and others) and from Chemnitz University of Technology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tu-chemnitz.de\/wirtschaft\/bwl9\/aae-summerschool.org\/2025\/Gallery\/AEE2025_3.jpg\" alt=\"Bild eines Seminaraumes mit Studenten\" width=\"60%\" height=\"auto\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Field trips fitting into to topics of culture, art, sustainability, management, and technology around Chemnitz (Capital of Culture) and Berlin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tu-chemnitz.de\/wirtschaft\/bwl9\/aae-summerschool.org\/2025\/Gallery\/AEE2025_4.jpg\" alt=\"Bild von Studenten, die einen Mann auf einem Stuhl malen\" width=\"60%\" height=\"auto\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attendance and active participation at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artemocc.org\/aboutArtemOcc.html\"><strong>ARTEM OCC\u00a0conference\u00a0\u201cRethinking Paths on Creativity, Innovation, and Sustainability in the Age of Disruption\u201d<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0in Berlin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tu-chemnitz.de\/wirtschaft\/bwl9\/aae-summerschool.org\/2025\/Gallery\/AEE2025_16.jpg\" alt=\"Gruppenbild der University of KwaZulu Natal in Durban South Africa\" width=\"60%\" height=\"auto\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Beyond the variety of topics and the mix of interactive learning experiences, there are some other benefits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MOS students, participating at the AAE Summer School, can substitute one seminar of the MOS study programme, for instance, \u201cNew concepts of leadership\u201d or \u201cAdvances in Organisation and International Management II\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Daily food and transportation costs will be covered by funding.<\/li>\n<li>Get a \u201ctaste for science\u201d and the academic world by meeting international researchers and writing your first research paper for a publication.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our partners from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/smitg.ukzn.ac.za\/\"><strong>University of KwaZulu Natal in Durban South Africa<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.icn-artem.com\/en\"><strong>ICN Business School in Nancy, France<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0are going to send students to attend the AAE Summer School.\u00a0<\/strong>We are also trying to integrate further universities from all over the world to make the AAE Summer School in 2025 an\u00a0<strong>international and intercultural experience<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Venues<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First week: TU Chemnitz, Th\u00fcringer Weg 7, 09126 Chemnitz<\/li>\n<li>Second week: ICN Berlin , Alt-Moabit 96 c, 10559 Berlin<\/li>\n<li>ARTEM OCC: HTW Berlin &#8211; Campus Wilhelminenhof<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested students from Chemnitz University of Technology can apply for the AAE Summer School by submitting a short CV and an abstract** of approximately 1,000 words <strong>until the 16th of September 2024<\/strong>. The abstract needs to describe a research idea or project fitting into the topic of \u201cInvestigating the interrelation of culture, creativity, innovation and sustainable development in the age of disruption\u201d. It should have a title and a particular research question and should describe why this is important, what the theoretical frame is and what research method will be used.
