Before you create your study plan, please read the slides from the course on April 1, 2026.

Total credits in term 1 should be about 30.

Total credits in term 2 should be about 30.

Total credits in term 3 should be about 30.

Total credits in term 4 should be about 30.

Total credits must be exactly 120.

At least one seminar type course should be taken.

No more than 15 credits (3 courses) may be obtained from Adaptation Modules.

At least 60 credits must be obtained from Specialization Modules.

No more than 80 credits can be obtained from in total from Adaptation, Specialization, and Supplementary Modules.

No more than 20 credits can be obtained from in total from Adaptation and Supplementary Modules.

The study plan contains a course that is not yet listed in the study regulations (Studienordnung). This is not a problem, but it requires a final approval by the examination committee, which will almost certainly be obtained in November. But please keep an eye on this.

German language courses are not in the correct order.

Arabic language courses are not in the correct order.

Chinese language courses are not in the correct order.

French language courses are not in the correct order.

Italian language courses are not in the correct order.

Polish language courses are not in the correct order.

Russian language courses are not in the correct order.

Spanish language courses are not in the correct order.

Czech language courses are not in the correct order.

At least one course in this study plan will be given in German instead of English as usual in the term it was selected for.

At least one course in this study plan is organized by the language department or another faculty and not given every term. Please inquire with the language department or the other faculty to check if the course is offered as selected in this study plan.

The course "International Strategy" must be taken unless this or an equivalent course has been completed already as part of the Bachelor's degree.

The study plan contains an advanced HRM course ("HRM Research" or "New Concepts of Leadership"). It is strongly advised that this course is only taken if a preliminary HRM course has been taken as part of a previous degree (e.g., your Bachelor's degree).

The study plan contains the advanced course "Organization and Strategy Research". It is strongly advised that the preliminary organization course "Understanding Organizations: Theories & Applications" is taken before that, unless an equivalent course has been taken as part of a previous degree (e.g., your Bachelor's degree).

It is recommended that students should have taken an introductory course on empirical economics (or econometrics, regression analysis, inferential statistics, machine learning, or similar) before.
