Health Courses for Staff


Below you can choose between categories of our health program for staff.  A course description will help you find the right class for you.

 

Pilates

Pilates as a systematic full body workout in order to strengthen the muscles, especially those of the pelvic floor, stomach and back for a strong centre. 

Content:

Are you sitting a lot? Would you like to bring more movement to your everyday life or are you looking for an ultimate basic workout? Then Pilates is the right class for you because stress and bad posture cause tension and back pain. Pilates is an effective workout to bring more relaxation and well-being. “You’re as old as your spine is flexible.” (Joseph Pilates)

Pilates is an effective movement training. Whether on a mat or with Pilates equipment, whether in a private lesson or group setting, whether standing up or lying on your back, side or stomach - large chains of muscles are trained to keep our centre - the spine - upright, stable and flexible.

Pilates is recommended if you:
Are new to sports.
Have back problems.
Want to become more flexible.
Want to enhance your posture.
Are looking for a balanced strength training.
Want a useful base training and addition to your recreational sport.
 

Duration:

10 sessions at 60 minutes each.

Power aktiv

Intense full body workout for mobility, stability, flexibility and coordination.

Content:

Power Aktiv trains each and every group of muscles in the body. Our own body weight is used to train mainly outdoors using trees, benches etc. as well as small training equipment (dumbbells, balls).

Duration:

10 sessions at 60 minutes each.

Body Fit

Content:

Body Fit is a professional mix of cardiovascular training, muscle strengthening, stretching and relaxation. Our teachers will show you ways to incorporate your exercises into your everyday life. 

Duration:

9 sessions at 60 minutes each.. 

Laufkurs

Content:

This running group for beginners is great for people who would like to activate their cardiovascular system being outdoors. The course offers diverse training sessions, mediation of running techniques, special strengthening exercises for runners and a running ABC. You will also learn about topics like running and nutrition. 

Duration:

10 sessions at 60 minutes each. 

 

Body Balance

Workout with Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates elements.

Content:

This course balances your body and mind through traditional oriental relaxation techniques in combination with stretching, meditation and breathing techniques. Feel the harmony - feel yourself. Defines and shapes the body and increases flexibility as well as our mental well-being.

Dauer:

10 sessions at 60 minutes.

Workshop Entspannung

Content:

This workshop teaches active relaxation techniques. There will be a lecture on stress and stress management, practical exercises that can be included in your daily office routine and autogenic training to relieve tension.  

Duration:

The workshop will be a 2-hour event.

 

Yoga

Content:

Yoga is a philosophical teaching practice that combines mental with physical exercises. The roots of yoga can be found in India. In this course, the focus is mainly on the physical practice - the so-called Asanas. Those yoga exercises practice strength, flexibility and balance and are complemented by deep relaxation, breathing exercises and meditation. The goal in yoga is to balance our body, mind, soul and breathing to reach more inner serenity. The calming and balancing effect of yoga is ideal for people that suffer from stress. 

Dauer:

10 sessions at 60 minutes each.
