Digital Collection

The Digital Collection presents the unique Old Scientific Collection of the University Library Chemnitz.

The collection based on numerous works, in particular textbooks and monographs published in the second half of 19th century by Chemnitzer Scholars, includes publications dealing primarily with technical-engineering and nature science content.
In addition, it offers cultural-historical publications on the history of the landscape Erzgebirge and Chemnitz ("Regionalia").

The digital copies have been created as a part of the Saxon "Landesdigitalisierungprojekt" and are subjected to licence CC-BY-SA 4.0. The digital copies are displayed by the portal SACHSEN.digital.
