The first step within an academic workflow is the finding process. This includes not only the search for information but also and at first finding an appropriate topic and subsequent determination of a research question.

After overcoming this hurdle, you may proceed to the search for appropriate sources for answering your own research question. The search should be made in the Library catalog as well in subject-specific databases. The module explains the different ways of searching, it offers hints for efficient search and provides outlook on the searching with AI.
