The Municipal Puppet Theater was located in the "Ancient Spinning Mill"-building in the period from 1955-1996. By the exhibition, this era shall be illustrated vividly, i.a. by original puppets in the showcases.

The exhibition "Couleurs d'Erasmus" was designed by Campus France Germany on the occasion of the Erasmus Days in cooperation with the Institut francais Germany. It is the result of a photo competition between students who have participated in an Erasmus exchange to France and may be visited at the foyer of the University Library until July 20, 2026.

On the occasion of the opening of the exhibition "Couleurs d'Erasmus", there will be a panel discussion between Isoline Rossi (Campus France Germany), Dr. Maria Worf (Managing Director of the Foreign Language Center), Dr. Andreas Rauch (Coodinator for French Language) and Dr. Wolfgang Lambrecht (Deputy Director of the University Library) about chances and perspectives of European Mobility as well as about study and life experiences in France.

Related to the scientific assessment of "Chemnitz Capital of Culture 2025", Chemnitz University of Technology invites to a panel discussion on the impacts of the year of Capital of Culture. The focus is put on questions regarding the societal change, particularly societal cohesion, democratic participation as well as the dealing with polarization. Which changes Chemnitz 2025 has initiated? Which expectations were completed - and which challenges still remain? Representatives of science, culture, politics and civil society discuss experiences, perspectives and the sustainable impact of the Capital of Culture on the city and the region.
All persons interested are welcome. We are looking forward to an intensive participation and exchange with everyone interested in the developments around Chemnitz 2025 or having been involved in them.
