43rd Gauss Lecture of the German Mathematical Society (DMV)
The lecture in honor of the mathematician Carl Friedrich Gauss makes cutting-edge research in mathematics tangible and comprehensible without requiring specialized knowledge. In 2025 it will be held for the first time at Chemnitz University of Technology. It is one of the most important mathematical events in the German-speaking world and beyond.
The lecture by Prof. Dr. Karl-Theodor Sturm (University of Bonn) will highlight current developments in mathematics and is aimed at the interested public. The opening lecture will be given by Prof. Dr. Alexandra Carpentier (University of Potsdam).
