ARCHIVE-eXpo

The ARCHIVE-eXpo project aims to present the ARCHIVE application developed at the Chemnitz University of Technology, together with its historical content about the Chemnitz Mikwe and the Red Tower, to the people of Chemnitz at a series of events. The event format includes a release, evaluation workshops and panel discussions. The app creators want to use these events to talk to local people about the city's historical cultural heritage, demonstrate the app and, supported by guest lectures, discuss the advantages of the app and the use of augmented reality (XR) for communicating historical and cultural content. In the spirit of citizen science, the aim is to integrate Chemnitz residents into research in the field of people and technology with a view to the city's cultural heritage.
