Bachelor and Master Theses
If you are studying B.Sc. or M.Sc. "Sensorik und Kognitive Psychologie", you are welcome to write your thesis in the Cognitive Systems Lab any time. (For other study programs, opportunities to do your thesis project in our group depend on your study regulations and our supervision load.)
You will design and conduct a research project under our supervision using EEG and/or behavioral indicators. Available topics are, for instance:
- Attention and distractibility
- Sensory prediction and its EEG correlates
- Cognitive factors in auditory perception
- Memory and rule learning
- Psychophysical methods
With prior consultation, you can also suggest your own topic of interest.
For a general idea on our research contents and methods, please join our group seminar.
Once we have agreed upon a topic for your thesis, we will ask you to write an outline according to the following regulations (please ask us for an English version if needed).
