WOT start-up CMMC presents itself at Hannover Messe 2023

The successful Chemnitz-based start-up founded out of the WOT professorship CMMC Ltd. was represented at the internationally important industrial trade fair in Hanover from 17 to 19 April 2023.

CMMC was involved in the joint stand „A50“ of futureSAX, the innovation platform of the Free State of Saxony. A total of twelve young Saxon companies presented themselves at this stand.

CMMC presented its new manufacturing process for AMC materials. For the first time, in addition to the directly cast AMC semi-finished products in ingot, bar and disc form, a new type of highly particle-reinforced AMC powder appeared in the portfolio of the innovative company this year. To develop its processes and products, CMMC uses the know-how of its employees from the casting technology sector to produce resource-efficient and wear-resistant aluminium matrix composites. These materials are highly relevant, especially in the lightweight construction sector.
