Summer festival in the Erfenschlag part of the university


On 20 June 2018, the WOT professorship celebrated a joint summer party for the third time together with the IWW and IBF institutes located at the site. In addition to the WOT professorship, the IWW also includes the two neighbouring professorships PVW (Professorship for Composite Materials and Material Composites) and LWW (Chair for Materials Science). The Institute for Operational Sciences and Factory Systems IBF is formed by the professorships of Factory Planning and Factory Operation as well as Labour Science and Innovation Management. The start-up network of the TU Chemnitz „Saxeed“ was invited as guests. The centrepiece of the celebration was the now almost traditional volleyball tournament. Teams from all professorships and the guests competed against each other. This year, the WOT professorship won second place.
