AI-supported, semi-automated disassembly of traction batteries

By linking flexible disassembly and machining processes with components of robotics and AI technologies as well as the digital twin, a partially automated disassembly plant for traction batteries will be developed and realized within the KaDoTE project. The plant will enable holistic sustainability of the value chain in German electromobility.

Artificial intelligence for medium-sized businesses

The Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Chemnitz and the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Ilmenau join forces and bundle their competencies in the field of artificial intelligence. The offers of the AI hub Saxony-Thuringia are ideal for small and medium-sized businesses.

Main contact: Martin Folz

Market and networking platform for emergency products

In the KISS project, a market and networking platform is being developed that uses AI-supported analyses and simulations to enable the rapid identification and commissioning of production goods such as protective masks. In crisis scenarios in particular, hospitals and aid organizations will be able to specify their requirements precisely via the platform and be networked directly with producers.

Competence Center for Transformed Work in West Saxony

How does AI influence work and work influence AI? How must the use of AI be designed to promote humane work? The competence center will be the point of contact for these questions in the future.

Main contact: Felix Franke

Digitization in Saxony's SME sector

The Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Chemnitz pursues the goal of supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in Saxony and neighboring areas in building skills that enable them to exploit the opportunities of digital transformation to secure their existence and competitiveness, as well as to identify and manage the risks of digitization.
