AC21 Student World Forums
|2009 (Chemnitz)||2011 (Bangkok)||2013 (Shanghai)||2015 (Strasbourg)|
Every two years the international network "Academic Consortium 21" (AC21) organizes a "Student World Forum". To this event, carefully selected students from member universities are invited getting the opportunity to discuss with the fellow student participants and international experts from academia and economy about a future-oriented overall topic within lectures and workshops. In addition, an attractive social and cultural accompanying program including excursions and events is offered aiming at bringing the participants in touch with the country and its people.
The role of the host of this event is regularly changing between the AC21 member universities. The 1st AC21 Student World Forum was hosted by Nagoya University in 2005. Technische Universität Chemnitz was hosting the 3rd AC21 Student World Forum in 2009 which dealt with the overall topic of "Production - Meeting the Global Challenges". A detailed documentation of this event can be found here.
