You can reach the Youth Hostel via bus and tram from Chemnitz main train station.
You can take the following public transports to reach the Youth Hostel:
- Tram 2 and 6/522 from Chemnitz main train station, exit at "Zentralhaltestelle" (400 meters on foot)
- Bus number 32 from Chemnitz main train station to Chemnitz-Rabenstein (exit "Getreidemarkt")

You can reach the Youth Hostel via bus and train from Chemnitz main station. Please try to arrive at the Youth Hostel before 10 p.m.
You can take the following public transports to reach the Youth Hostel:
- Tram 5 (direction to Gablenz) until 00:30 a.m., exit at "Pappelhain"
- Bus to Chemnitz-Augustusburg until 5:00 p.m., the bus stops right in front of the Youth Hostel (exit "Walther-Klippel-Strasse")

Private accommodation / flat-sharing and rooms for short term let
Charges you need to pay on top of your rent. These include charges for water, heat, electricity, waste removal, cleaning, the caretaker's fee, and maintenance costs.
If you stay in our halls of residence, these costs will be included in your rent. If you choose to live in shared accommodation or your own apartment, your rent will often include an advance payment that goes towards paying for your bills. At the end of each year, you will be given utilities and service charges invoice for the water, heating, electricity, cleaning costs, etc. that you need to pay. If you have overpaid, your landlord will reimburse you the difference, while you will need to make up the difference if you haven't paid enough.
