Requirements: Usually general qualification for university entrance (Abitur); German Language Examination for University Entrance (DSH) or equivalent for applicants from abroad. No admission restrictions!
Standard period of study : 6 terms
Course Language: German
Degree: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)
Starting of the course: winter term
Deadlines: All deadlines for applications are defined by Technische Universität Chemnitz.
This study program is jointly offered with the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.

Study and examination regulation

Information regarding application for admission to studies

The application is made online.

 

The degree program includes a well-founded academic and practice-oriented training in the field of internal, cross-plant and interplant information processing in economy and public administration.

Study Content

  • impartation of basic knowledge in the field of economic science, as well as skills in law, mathematics, stochastics/statistics
  • impartation of special skills, e.g. in operative and analytic information systems, as well as computer science
  • 9 weeks of practical training

 

Besides the planning, documentation and introduction of hardware and software, the graduate is above all an expert in mediating between computer specialists and system users, e.g. in medium-sized enterprises, banks or governmental administrations.
