Between August 2014 and July 2019, Media Computing was a junior professorship funded supported financially by four sponsoring companies. One of the major goals of the endowed juniorprofessorship Media Computing was the support of regional economic structures. A close collaboration with local companies aims to create a sustainable profile that enables and facilitates the innovation of emerging technologies and their economic or industrial application.
