30th Annual Conference of the German Peace Psychology Association

30th Annual Conference of the German Peace Psychology Association

June 16th – 18th, 2017

“No Justice, no Peace?“
Peace Psychology’s Approaches to Social Inequality

Increases in social inequality within societies endanger domestic peace and may affect conflicts between societies and nations. At this year’s conference of the German Peace Psychology Association we would like to address and discuss this topic by means of current research and practice-oriented implications. The conference aims at providing a platform for scientists and practitioners to exchange knowledge and experience on the current and upcoming societal challenges.

Keynote Speaker:
Felicia Pratto
(University of Connecticut, USA)

We invite prospective participants to submit contributions from the fields of psychology, sociology, political science and related fields of research on the topics of social inequality and social conflicts. Contributions regarding other topics of peace psychology can be submitted as well.

The conference is supported by:

Sektion Politische Psychologie im BDP, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Verhaltenstherapie (DGVT), Gesellschaft der Freunde und Förderer der TU Chemnitz, Pabst Verlag, Nomos Verlag
