Research focus

In addition to research and teaching topics related to health and clinical psychology in applied geropsychology, the professorship also pursues research activities in engineering psychology. The research focuses on the user- and task-oriented design of technical and socio-technical systems with the aim to actively meet the challenges of demographic change and use it as a developmental opportunity through appropriate innovative technology support in the areas of mobility, work, housing, healthcare, medicine, education, media and communication.
