Current projects

As part of the study, students have the opportunity to participate in various research projects of the IFAB. Current offers of the project courses can be found here:

The project complex general school examination – acronym: KOMPASS – is an extensive research project of the Professorship of Sports Medicine/ Biology that analyses the health situation of children in Chemnitz. In the context of the project as a teaching modules, the students conduct motor performance tests at primary schools in Chemnitz. The participants of the project will be trained in planning and supervising various test tasks with the children either during the term break in the summer or winter. Finally, the students will analyse the test results of one tested school and write a scientific project report.
