The TU Chemnitz is once again organizing the TUC Holiday Fun this winter and wishes all children a wonderful vacation week.
The TUC-Ferienspaß (TU holiday fun) offers for students and working parents of the TU Chemnitz:
- Relief during the examination period or working hours
- All-day care from 7.30 am to 4.00 pm including meals
- in the winter holidays for one week and in the summer holidays for a fortnight
- Age-related care for children (6 to 8 years and 9 to 12 years)
- maximum 15 children per group
- eventful and exciting holidays with a varied programme and qualified supervision
- Registration possible by the day or week

Impressions of the "Holiday Fun" in Winter 2019
The Winter Holiday Fun 2019 took us on a tour of the Chemnitz Art Collections and turned all the kids into little artists. Likewise, the exhibition in the Solaristurm "Global Players" transported us to Africa to to see self-made toys made by children in faraway countries. During creative workshops and a fast skate on the ice were five eventful days full of memories.
A "Holiday Fun" full of health and sustainability in summer 2019
Under the motto of healthy nutrition, sports, pure nature, school 100 years ago and the sustainable use of of different materials, two weeks of holiday fun have passed. To preserve the species of insects during ecological handicrafts or healthy cooking of international snacks and getting to know new recipe ideas, numerous new impressions filled the daily activities.
Impressions of the "Holiday Fun" in Winter and Summer 2018
The Winter Holiday Fun 2018 was a week with many experiences! Whether it was creative design, a cooking class with 3-course menu, climbing, games and sports day or the big carnival party - 100% fun and adventure were the in the foreground.
With hot temperatures of 36 to 38 °C, the 2018 summer holiday fun was the hottest since 2014. refreshing waterworks park, a rally through the Küchwald forest and a trip to the Phenomenie in Stollberg we had a great holiday, with lots of creative workshops and a water fight.
