Application area for FPGA

Aim

The 2 hour seminar (fee required) is intended for companies and persons which would like to gain knowledge on current developments and capabilities of FPGAs (reconfigurable logic devices). The "Field Programmable GateArrays" are a cost-effective and efficient alternative to (mask programmable) ASICs when working with low quantities, as prototype of a planned ASIC design, as space saving alternative for many standard circuits or wherever microcontrollers reach the limit and parallelism is required.

The seminar is currently available.

Procedure

The seminar consists of a one hour oral presentation followed by a discussion. The discussion can be used to answer other questions.
