Modern and Practice Oriented Education Program for a Higher Qualification of Young Engineers (Hi Q)

Project Overview

The project Hi-Q aims to improve the qualification of students following the actual needs of industry to meet the requirement of the job market in the automotive sector in Tunisia. The strong practical and theoretical relevance of the planned education and training programs aims to improve employability in local industry in mid- and long-term by supporting young engineers to get better professional skills and know how already during their studies so that they get better prepared for professional life.

In parallel to this, the project aims to support young graduates, mainly master and PhD students by promoting applied research in topics related to the local context and by providing them the opportunity to perform research and development activities in a quasi-sandwich model between the university and the industry.

A specific aim in the project will focus on building a strong cooperation between the Tunisian partners “LEONI” and “ENISo” with the German partners “TUC” and “Technica Engineering GmbH” in the field of production technologies, diagnostic methods, embedded systems, software development and signal processing

November 2019:

Kick-off meeting tking Place on Novemver 22th-23rd in Sousse Palace with participation of partners and collaborators.
