Fachtagung des ITG Fachausschusses 7.5 "Wellenausbreitung"
Wave Propagation and Scattering in Communications, Microwave Remote Sensing, Navigation, and High-Speed Digital Data Transmission
February 10 - 13, 2015
Hotel Chemnitzer Hof, Chemnitz, Germany
Call for Papers
The scientific meeting will address scientific and technological aspects of wave propagation and scattering in communications, microwave remote sensing, navigation and other information systems.
The conference programme will include a series of review and keynote presentations suited for both young scientists and experts. Additionally, on the side-lines of the meeting, at 10th February, a pre-conference tutorial workshop on fundamentals of radar remote sensing and wave propagation will be held. The tutorial-workshop will cover modern aspects of multi-parameter radar remote sensing. The main idea behind the tutorial workshop is to especially address the ‘knowledge needs’ of newcomers in the field. The workshop presentations will thus be tailored to the requirements of young scientists from diverse backgrounds, engineering and non-engineering alike.
The following topics from Communication, Remote Sensing, and Navigation will be considered.
- Microwave Propagation in Communication and Microwave Systems
- Satellite Communication
- Multi-Path Propagation
- Indoor Propagation
- Propagation Effects in Remote Sensing
- Propagation in Metamaterials
- Ionospheric Propagation
- Urban Communication
- Microwave Measurements in Propagation
- Applications of Microwave Sensors
- Radar Polarimetry
- Bistatic and Multi-static Radar
- Polarimetric and Multi-static Interferometry
- Multi-Parameter Weather Radar Systems
- Automotive and Airborne Radars
- Radar System Calibration
- Biological Effects of EM-Radiation
- Waveform Radar Methods
- Antenna Design and Measurements
- Propagation for High-Speed Digital Data Transmission
- Design of Serial Data Transmission lines
- Modelling of High-Speed Data Transmission
- Electromagnetic Compatibility for High-Speed Data Systems
