Gastvortrag – Life Cycle Engineering

Im Rahmen des MERGE – Promovendenseminars laden wir alle Interessenten recht herzlich zum Vortrag “Life Cycle Engineering: an integrated approach for material and technology selection“ ein. Gastlektor wird Herr Prof. Paulo Peças von der Universität Lissabon (Portugal) sein.

The Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) framework insights are presented as drivers of an informed and sustainable decision‐making process in an early design phase of product or process. LCE based tools and models are explained as regards to its application on materials and technology selection. Several results of case‐studies are discussed demonstrating the relevance of analyzing concurrently the functional, environmental and economic performance dimensions on a life cycle perspective.
