      • Abstract: The current pandemic situation not only resembles a huge social and economical challenge but also a chance for technologies with possible applications in diagnostics. The increased awareness for the value of such rapid testing gave a large boost to RnD activities in this field. The first part of the presentation will give a short overview of current state of the art technologies for SARS-COV2 testing. The second part of the talk will focus on open questions for the state of the art technologies and possible answers by nanomembrane-based technologies.
