Object and goals of the subject
The subject economic policy is next to economic theory
the second large subject area of the economics. It deals on the one hand
with developing the gained cognitions of the economic theory and making
them useful for political consulting, on the other hand it analyzes the
acting of the political economic participants. Beside comprehensive questions
the subject economic policy contains a large number of single themes.
These are e. g. competitive policy, stability policy, growth policy, development
policy, foreign trade and investment policy, structural policy, regional
policy, social policy and financial policy.
