IFIP - Institute for Innovation Management and Human Resource Development
The Institute for Innovation Management and Personnel Development (IFIP) was founded on 21st November 1996. Founding initiatives can be traced back to a cooperation between Chemnitz-Zwickau University of Technology and the Association for Research into Professional Development Berlin e.V. (ABWF), in 1994.

The Institute is focusing on the analysis of interdisciplinary, interrelated, and innovative projects in labour organisations and in professional consulting.

The primary subject of research is the optimal use and promotion of intellectual capital in innovation processes with the objective of effectiveness and efficiency. Remarkably, not only product and process innovations but especially social innovations are of interest. Perceptions can be used directly in the development of methods, instruments and tools for innovation management.
