Prof. Dr. Dmitry Ivanov                                                                         Russian

I have created this page to provide a brief insight into my current research, recent publications, and little about my interests in GermanRussian collaboration and about my personal background.

My research primarily focuses on dynamics and uncertainty in complex business systems, such as supply chains and production and logistics networks. The issues of planning and control at the tactical and operative management levels as well as issues of new agile organizations and the role of IT in business performance are of particular interest.

In our investigations, we understand supply chains as complex dynamic multi-structural systems with active elements. The research on such systems implies a combined application of optimal control theory, operations research and agent-oriented modelling.
