A Bengali start into the New Year

The Bengali New Year celebration will take place on 21st April 2018 in the “Club der Kulturen” on the Campus Reichenhainer Straße of Chemnitz University

Anyone interested to engage in an intercultural experience has the opportunity to do so on April 21, in the “Club der Kulturen” of Chemnitz University of Technology (Thüringer Weg 3). The Bengali students of the university will celebrate the Bengali New Year 1425.

Aside from the New Year festivities, there will be a colorful mix of Bengali music, traditional dishes, dancing and singing as well as entertaining program, a historical lecture and quiz.

Visitors will enjoy some Bengali cultural segment, different kinds of traditional Bangladeshi foods, music, dance, songs and Bengali poetry. A Quiz session will be conducted immediately after the multimedia presentation on Bangladesh with attractive gifts.

After the dinner, there will be a musical session together with a Raffle draw for lucky winners to claim gifts representing Bangladeshi culture. Following the musical session, DJ Louis will help you to make your all moves with various fusion of Bengali, German and other international music.
