1   Courses generally begin in the winter semester.
2   The Magister Major cannot be combined with the Magister Minor from the same topic.
3   A combination only of historical subjects is not possible.
4   The Magister Minor cannot be combined with the Magister Major British and American Studies.
5   The Magister Major cannot be combined with the Magister Minor English Linguistics, English Literature and Cultural Studies and/or American Literature and Cultural Studies.
6   The Magister Major cannot be combined with Magister Minor of German Literature, Medieval German Studies and German Linguistics.
7   The Magister Minor cannot be combined with the Magister Major German Studies.
8   Medieval German Studies and German Literature cannot be combined.
9   An entrance exam is required for registration.
10   Differing from study regulations, the commencement of studies may only follow in the winter semester of each academic year.
11   The prerequisite for the matriculation is generally an equivalent Bachelor degree or a degree in a similar field.
