Conversation class (2 LVS)
This conversation class is aimed at scholars and scientists - whether in their present position at university or in the postgraduate / postdoctoral stage of their academic life - who have discovered within themselves the need to communicate in an adequate and effective way not only in their subject fields, but beyond this in topics of general interest including small talk. Participants will study and practise communication skills in a relaxed environment reflecting real life situations. Practising pronunciation and intonation patterns are also part of the course structure.
Participants need to be advanced speakers of English (having completed Unicert level III or have, e.g. the Cambridge Advanced Certificate or other similar certificates, or can otherwise prove their language experience).
