Numerische Simulation auf massiv parallelen Rechnern

Zeit: Mittwoch, 29.09.1999, 09:00 Uhr
Ort: Reichenhainer Straße 70, B202
Vortragender: M. Berzins (Leeds)
Thema: Unstructured Mesh Solvers for Flow Problems
The talk will provide an introduction to work at Leeds on unstructured triangular and tetrahedral mesh solvers for flow problems both with and without chemical reactions on both serial and parallel computers.

The talk will provide an overview of the finite volume, error indication and time integration algorithms used and discuss issues like mesh quality and adaptation, distributed memory parallelism for time dependent problems and visualization.

The talk will be illustrated by a number of examples from simple 1D problems to 3D calculations of reacting plumes.

Interessenten sind herzlich eingeladen.
