Welcome to the
center for nanostructured materials and analytics
The center has been established at the institute of physics
of the chemnitz university of technology to concentrate and coordinate
the activities of several research groups in the field of design and analytics
of materials, especially organic/inorganic hybrid materials on the nanometer
scale. Potential applications which are envisaged by the scientists of
the centre are located in the fields of
- Micro- and Nanofluidity at (structured) interfaces
- Photoactive switches and sensors on a molecular level
- Organic-inorganic quantum dot structures
- Ultrathin molecular films
- Photonic structures
- Molecular devices
- (Organic) optoelectronics
- Spintronics
