This page is a project
which was developed for the course Internet
and American Studies given by Gunther Süß.
We chose this topic because we want to provide you with some background
information about the "classic" American West. This page is
designed for students of Amerikanistik as well as for everyone who is
interested in the Myth of the American West.
We do not intend to give a complete overview regarding the American West
for this would go beyond the scope of this site. If you are interested
