Auftragschichten – Partners for Coating Technologies at Chemnitz UT

Objectives

A lot of coated parts are applied in mechanical and plant engineering. Economic efficiency and resitance properties are very important for the production and application of those components. Therefor appropriate coating systems as well as suitable wear facing and finishing technologies are required. According to that we offer know-how and research oppertunities in the following emphases:

• Further development and improvement of coating technologies
• Development of new coating systems and materials
• Development of finishing operations

Another main point ist the education and qualification of engineers in regard to all facets of coating technologies. For this our ephases are:

• Specialist qualification of young scientists
• Education of upcomming engineers with practical orientation for regional companies

Auftragschichten - A little sucess story.

Auftragschichten is a research project at Chemnitz University of Technology. It is part of InnoProfile – a program initiated by the German Ferderal Ministry of Education and Research and financially supported by Entrepreneurial Regions an innovation initiative for the new East German regions.
